What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a specific kind of traditional Chinese medicine. It has been practiced for over 2,000 years. It involves inserting thin needles into the skin at key points to stimulate energy flow. This stimulation, it is believed, helps rebalance the yin and yang and unblock the flow of qi. Acupuncture can stimulate certain hormones or other chemicals in the body; others attribute its effects to direct action on the nerves. More people have been successfully treated with acupuncture than with all other health modalities combined. The World Health Organization recognizes the use of traditional acupuncture in the treatment of a wide range of medical problems. Today, acupuncture is now being used more and more in America by patients and physicians.
What is Non-Invasive/Electrical Acupuncture?
Non-Invasive Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and to improve functioning without invasive needles. Electrical acupuncture is a technology breakthrough with the usage of low level of electric current; the electrical acupuncture can be used through the use of a non-penetrating probe to penetrate into channels (called meridians), collaterals, blood vessels and acupuncture points of human body. It illuminates the acupuncture points were originally defined by traditional Chinese acupuncture with needles.
What is Magnetic Therapy?
Magnetic therapy is an alternative therapy in which magnetic fields are administered by application of magnets to certain parts of the body. Magnet therapy has been promoted to diagnose and/or treat arthritis, cancer, circulatory disorders, diabetic neuropathy (nerve disease), fibromyalgia, HIV/AIDS, immune dysfunction, infection, inflammation, insomnia, multiple sclerosis, muscle pain, neuropathy, pain, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, stress and to increase energy and prolong life.
What is Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)?
Low Level Laser treatment uses the principle of photo-bio stimulation, a process by which nutrient rich laser energy is delivered to the hair follicle. Laser light penetrates into soft tissue and increases the action of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Laser light increases the energy available to cells so they take in nutrients faster and get rid of waste products (metabolism). This process may cause a revitalization of the individual follicle, and a general strengthening of the hair. It may enhance the growth of existing hair or prevent hair loss but the result can be slow. And whether it can stimulate the growth of new hair for a blocked or dying hair follicle is unknown.
